Forty, Fifty, Fat and Fucking Menopause??

 

Menopause- Most Women Hate it?

Now I’m not saying I love this phase of My life. But I like to look at it in a More Positive Note.
I am lucky to be alive to be able to experience it, so with that it makes it just that little bit easier.
But one thing I am not a fan of is the 1, 2, 3am Night sweats, like please. Just let me sleep. With that it can be hard to Run an Active business the Next day.

My Tips in Helping Me deal with The Journey of Menopausal Life:

Tip1- Go see a Naturopath

Tip 2- I acknowledge what is happening to my body, know that it’s OK, be Grateful for this part of Life’s journey and try to keep going. When we dwell in the phase, we get hooked into the negative emotions and start this conversation in our heads of all the negative things associated with it. Before you know it, your getting depressed.

Tip 3- We can gain weight at anytime in life, but it is common to put on weight during Menopause. Due to a Combination of a few things. Our Hormones are Changing, Aging, Lifestyle and Genetics.

It’s very important to be Active, I can’t stress this enough. whether that means going for a walk daily, joining our Amazing Fitness Community or signing up to a sports team. What ever you find Enjoyable and Fun. This will help you Mentally as well as Physically.

Tip 4- What we put in OUR MOUTHS???- This is so important, not just for us Menopausal women but for all humans.
Try cutting down on Processed, sugar filled Foods. Limit your Alcohol intake. And add More of Our rich Nutrient foods Like Fruit and Veggies, Good Fats and Dairy Foods into your Diet. They can all help prevent a number of Menopause symptoms.

Tip 5- You’re not alone, reach out to other people that are going through this as well. There are some great Naturopaths around that could also help you.

Try to remember this is just another Part of this Amazing Journey we call Life, we sometimes take it for granted, and focus on the Negative side of Life. When at the end of the Day. If this is all you have to worry about with your HEALTH. YOU ARE EXTREMELY LUCKY.
